About Breathes Wellness by Natalie Hore

Helping People Breathe A Little Deeper

Breathes Wellness was born from one simple belief: when we learn to regulate our nervous system, reconnect with ourselves, and approach life with greater self-compassion, lasting change becomes possible – from the inside out.

My work brings together movement, mindfulness and storytelling to help individuals, teams and communities build emotional resilience, navigate life’s challenges, and reconnect with what matters most.

I believe lasting wellbeing isn’t about striving to become someone else. It’s about creating the safety to come home to who you already are.

My career has taken me from journalism and government communications to marine conservation, advocacy, wellness and storytelling. While the industries have changed, my purpose has remained the same: to help people create meaningful change – for themselves, for others and for the world around them. Today, alongside my wellbeing work, I write children’s picture books exploring themes of emotional resilience, connection and belonging.

In 2021, after years of dedicating myself to meaningful work and supporting others, I reached a point of deep exhaustion. I made the difficult decision to pause, step away from work, and focus on my own wellbeing. Rather than searching for a quick fix, I chose to turn inward. Through yoga, meditation, somatic practices, sound healing, journaling and emotional regulation, I began rebuilding not just my health, but my relationship with myself. That journey transformed the way I understand resilience, healing and lasting change, and continues to shape every workshop, class, retreat and conversation I share today.

What I discovered was this:

The body remembers, but it can also release.

The mind protects, but it can also rewire.

And while our stories shape us, they don’t have to define us.

I help people reconnect with themselves and with others by building emotional resilience and learning to work with, rather than against, their nervous system. With an emphasis on simplicity, self-compassion and somatic wisdom, my approach is holistic, trauma-aware and deeply human. I support those navigating life’s challenges – from stress, anxiety and burnout to grief, PTSD, fertility struggles and major life transitions – helping them develop the tools and inner safety to meet life’s waves with greater steadiness, resilience and self-trust.

Whether I’m teaching yoga beside the water, facilitating a workshop, writing a children’s story over a cup of tea, or sitting quietly with someone navigating a difficult season, I’m continually reminded that healing doesn’t begin with having all the answers. It begins with creating the space to breathe.

I believe our emotions are not problems to be fixed, but powerful messengers inviting us to listen with curiosity rather than judgement. Through breath, movement, reflection and grounded mindset practices, I gently guide others to befriend their inner world, creating space for healing, clarity and lasting calm.

Today, my mission is simple.

To help people breathe a little deeper…

Through movement.

Through mindfulness.

Through storytelling.

Because when we breathe a little deeper, we create the space for meaningful change.
