From Chaos to Calm: Simple Daily Rituals for Nervous System Reset

by Natalie | Oct 31, 2025 | Anger, Anger management, Anxiety, Healing, Stress

We live in a world that moves faster than our bodies were designed to. Between constant notifications, never-ending to-do lists, and emotional overload, our nervous systems rarely get a chance to rest. Over time, that constant hum of “on” becomes our default — until...

The Quiet Strength of Authenticity

by Natalie | Oct 7, 2025 | Anger, Anger management, Anxiety, Healing, Stress

The Quiet Power of Integrity In a world that often encourages us to prove, to compete, to explain ourselves endlessly, there is a radical power in simply staying rooted in integrity. Integrity doesn’t shout. It doesn’t demand attention. It doesn’t need to defend...

We all carry unspoken blueprints of how life is supposed to look. The milestones. The relationships. The career path. The moments we imagine will arrive in neat succession, giving our days a sense of order and fulfillment. But life, as we quickly learn, rarely unfolds...

Overcoming Imposter Syndrome: Lessons from Acro Yoga

by Natalie | Aug 28, 2024 | Anger management, Imposter Syndrome, Stress, Yoga

Imposter syndrome is a term many of us have become all too familiar with. It’s that nagging feeling that you’re not good enough, that you don’t belong, or that your achievements are the result of luck rather than skill. Whether it’s at work, in social settings, or...

Behind Closed Doors: Growing Up with a Father Who Had Anger Management Issues.

by Natalie | Oct 24, 2023 | Anger, Anger management

I recently broke my own rules as a life coach. I took on a client with anger management issues. I had specified this type of client as someone to avoid, due to my own experiences and fears of being triggered. It has however been the best and most challenging...

June is Men’s Mental Health Month. One thing we’v June is Men’s Mental Health Month.

One thing we’ve noticed through our work is that men rarely reach out because they’re feeling anxious, lonely, overwhelmed, or burned out.

More often, they reach out because they’re frustrated.

Frustrated at work, in their relationships and with themselves.

But underneath frustration is often something deeper.

Stress.
Pressure.
Loss.
Uncertainty.
A feeling of carrying too much for too long.

Many men have spent years being taught to push through, stay strong, and keep going.

The problem is that emotions don’t disappear when they’re ignored. They simply find another way to be expressed.

This month, we’re encouraging a different conversation.

Not “What’s wrong with you?”

But:

“What are you carrying?”

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, reactive, or simply not like yourself, we offer a complimentary 30-minute wellbeing consultation to explore what support might look like.

No pressure. No obligation. Just a conversation.

Those that know me well will tell you I despise th Those that know me well will tell you I despise these types of videos, but I recognize it’s the way most people operate and I was asked to do an introductory video - so here it is.

I’m Natalie, but most people call me Tully. I’m a Mind-Body Neuroplasticity and Emotional Resilience Specialist.

My work focuses on helping people better understand the connection between the mind, body, nervous system, habits, and emotional wellbeing.

My approach blends evidence-based wellbeing tools with mind-body practices including nervous system regulation, movement, mindfulness, breathwork, emotional resilience coaching, and lifestyle support.

My background spans wellness, yoga, nutrition, coaching, journalism, and advocacy work, which has given me a very holistic perspective on wellbeing and human resilience.

I believe sustainable change happens through small consistent shifts, self-awareness, and learning how to work with ourselves rather than against ourselves.

I’m really looking forward to connecting with you and seeing how I may be able to bring some more clarity, comfort, confidence and joy into your life.

Sometimes what we call “obsession,” “ego,” or even Sometimes what we call “obsession,” “ego,” or even “jealousy” is actually grief.

A client recently asked why he couldn’t stop ruminating about a friendship that had ended.

“Why do I keep thinking about them?”
“Is it my ego?”
“Am I jealous?”

But underneath the looping thoughts was something much more human:

Loss.

He had also recently gone through a divorce. His support network had changed. The people, routines, and emotional anchors that once helped him feel safe and connected were no longer there in the same way.

And so the mind kept returning to what was lost.

Not because he was weak or dramatic, but because the nervous system struggles with disconnection.

Sometimes rumination is not a sign that someone is “crazy.” Sometimes it is the mind trying to make sense of grief, abandonment, loneliness, or unmet emotional needs.

We often think grief only applies to death. But we grieve friendships, marriages, identities, versions of ourselves and the future we thought we would have.

And many people — particularly men — were never taught to recognise grief unless it came wrapped in obvious sadness.

So instead it appears as:
• anger
• overthinking
• anxiety
• irritability
• fixation
• emotional withdrawal
• restlessness

Sometimes healing begins not by judging the feeling… but by naming it accurately.

More and more, we are working with men navigating More and more, we are working with men navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, stress, frustration, and reactive patterns.

Not “bad men” or “broken men.” Simply men carrying pressure they were never taught how to process safely.

What we are seeing again and again is this:

Underneath anger is often work stress, unmet expectations, pressure, exhaustion, and a feeling of loss of control.

Underneath shutdown is a nervous system stuck in survival mode.

And underneath all of that… is usually someone who genuinely wants better relationships, more peace, and a different way forward.

Emotional resilience is not about becoming emotionless. It is about choosing how to respond rather than react.

How to stay connected without intimidation, to regulate instead of explode and to communicate without losing yourself or the people you love.

This work matters deeply. 🤍

Over the years, I’ve often questioned whether quie Over the years, I’ve often questioned whether quiet work matters in a world that rewards visibility and noise.

Then messages like these arrive…

And I’m reminded that sometimes the most important work happens quietly, behind closed doors, one conversation at a time.

Not everything meaningful is visible online.

Sometimes the real work is simply helping another person feel seen.

Helping them breathe again, helping them steady themselves enough to remember who they are.

These messages touched me deeply because they reminded me that purpose is rarely about being the loudest person in the room.

It’s often found in the quieter moments:
connection, trust, presence, safety, belief, and human kindness.

To everyone who has trusted me in vulnerable seasons of their lives — thank you 🤍

The brain cannot think its way out of a nervous sy The brain cannot think its way out of a nervous system storm.

It took @wellnesswithtully far longer than she would care to admit to truly understand the role of the body when it comes to stress management.

For years, the focus was on mindset.
On thinking differently.
On trying to “logic” the way out of anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional spirals.

But the shift came with a simple, powerful realisation:

When the nervous system is activated, the body is leading and the mind is following.

No amount of positive thinking can override a system that does not feel safe.

Since becoming aware of this, everything changed.

Instead of asking
“What should I think right now?”

The question became
“What does my body need right now?”

And that is where regulation begins.

Not through force.
Not through control.
But through gentle awareness and connection.

✨ Slow the breath
✨ Ground through sensation
✨ Orient to safety

From here, the mind can return.
From here, calm becomes possible.

You are not broken.
Your body is protecting you.

And it is also the way back.

If this resonates, head to the link in bio to explore more tools and ways to support your nervous system.
